Greg Pogue has three-plus decades of extensive communications experience in print, radio, television, advertising, marketing and public relations.

Pogue is currently host of the morning sports talk show in Nashville on 102-5 The Game ESPN Radio Nashville and has spent more than two decades on the air in Nashville sports talk. He is also a sports writer for Fox Sports Tennessee and various other media outlets.

After serving a decade as executive sports editor, he was recently the senior columnist of The Daily News Journal and a former sports writer for the Nashville Banner over two decades. Recent radio duties include being studio anchor on the Nashville Predators radio network, Tennessee Titans pre- and post-games shows, Titans and Predators players shows, etc.

In the 10 years he served as executive sports editor, the DNJ sports section was judged best in the state nine times for its division by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association. Also during this time, the DNJ sports section was named best in the country three times for its division by the National Newspaper Association. Three times, he was named Sports Columnist of the Year by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association. His print experience includes publisher of Big Orange Illustrated, the UT sports fan magazine, and a long-time sports reporter role for the Nashville Banner, where he was the initial beat writer covering the move of the Houston Oilers to Nashville to eventually become the Tennessee Titans. At the Nashville Banner, he was also Prep Editor and Vanderbilt beat writer before moving to the pro sports beat that also included lead coverage of the NHL expansion into Nashville.

Over the years, Pogue has logged more than 1,000 hours of television programming, including being host of his own nightly sports show on WNAB Channel 58 in Nashville. He has also served as a consultant for various businesses in the areas of marketing, advertising, communications and public relations. Pogue has owned and operated various publications and communications businesses over the years in Kentucky and Tennessee.

In December, 2012, Pogue was inducted into the Metro Nashville Coaches Association Hall of Fame for his contribution to advancing high school sports coverage throughout the state. He is also a former member of the board of directors of the Football Writers Association of America.

Pogue and wife Robin have lived in Rutherford County for two-plus decades and have a son, Clay, who attends Smyrna High School; and a daughter, Grace, who attends MTSU.

Joe Dubin is arguably the top sports person in Nashville as it relates to awards. He has won the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award two (2) times which is more than any other sports reporter in Nashville, including TV and Radio. Dubin won an EMMY Award last year for Best Sportscast and has been nominated for sports related EMMY’s nine (9) times.

“After 15 years in TV, I am so excited to head to radio and for this wonderful opportunity,” commented Dubin. “It is going to be one heckuva ride and I cannot wait,” he concluded.

Dubin graduated from MTSU in 1997 and is very active in local charities including the Metro Animal Shelter, JDRF, the Alzheimer’s Association and others. The charity work is very important to Dubin and he plans to continue the efforts with his new position at 102.5 The Game.
